Sharjah, UAE: Thumbay Medical & Dental Speciality Centre in Sharjah, a part of Thumbay Healthcare Division, the largest network of academic hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and labs in the region, recently hosted the Summer Games 2024. The event featured exciting competitions in chess and caroms, with participation from a diverse range of staff members, from housekeeping staff to doctors, coming together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
The Summer Games 2024 received high praise from doctors and staff, who appreciated the initiative taken by the management to promote a fun and healthy work environment. Among the standout performers of the Summer Games were Dr. Manasa, specialist pediatrician, who claimed the title of Grandmaster in chess, and Dr. Nathan, pediatrician, along with Mr. Faiz, insurance officer, who were crowned champions in caroms. The final round of competitions took place on July 18th, 2024, culminating in an appreciation ceremony to recognize the efforts and achievements of all participants.
